Tree removal

Specialists in removing dangerous, pruned, dead or restricted trees.

We’re experienced in using complex systems to fell trees in very confined areas, and we have the safe equipment to do it.

Why removing trees?

When tree care services are mentioned, the first association that comes to mind is often tree felling. This reaction is understandable, given that many people call on our services to fell a tree, requiring specialized tools and exceptional expertise due to the risks inherent in this type of work.

Although removing tree is included in our range of services, it is often perceived as the first option. However, it is essential to bear in mind that removing should only be considered after careful examination of the many other possibilities. Our top priority is to preserve the life of trees and thus maintain the benefits of nature. (see tree pruning details)

However, there may be times when removing is the best option after careful evaluation, especially when the safety of people or structures is at stake.

If you have any concerns about the safety of your trees, don’t hesitate to contact us for a free assessment of your needs.

Tight spots and large trees

Whatever the size of your trees or constraints, we use a variety of specific tools for removing, directing branches and trunks as they descend to the ground. Thanks to our experience and the innovative techniques used by Émondeur Lac-Brome, we’re able to take on complex, large-scale jobs, which sets us apart as an arboricultural company in Lac-Brome.

Our years of experience as pruners have enabled us to develop safe techniques to provide the best possible service. Your satisfaction is our top priority, and we always listen to your needs whenever possible.

If a tree is diseased, dead, dangerous or in a position that is harmful to nearby people or property, it needs to be removed.

Tree removing can be carried out in a number of different ways:

Our vision is to preserve as many trees as possible in the urban environment.

It all starts with a free on-site assessment

Before starting any tree-clearing work, one of our arborists will visit the site to draw up a detailed plan and suggest which tree species to keep or which trees to cut. We carry out selective clearing safely and clean up all residues.

A few points to check before cutting a tree:

Site analysis and inspection

If it's possible to preserve the trees, we'll make some suggestions for pruning.

Municipal regulations

If removing trees in Lac-Brôme and the surrounding area is the only option, check the regulations for your region:

Émondeur Lac-Brome also offers conservation services, selective deforestation and tree removing for your land. Whether you're building a new home or simply want to clean up your woodland, selective clearing is the solution. We use specialized tree service equipment that leaves little impact on your woodland.
We also offer specific protection to prevent breakage or injury to your trees when moving large equipment. Damaged trees will retain their injuries over the long term, so it's essential to take appropriate measures during your project to protect them.

We use a chipper to shred branches up to 12″ in size into RCW or wood chips. We use the wood shavings collected when felling trees to make trails in your woodland. This adds fertilizer and biodiversity to your trees. Next time you cut trees, ask one of our pruners to leave the shavings on site.

We now offer the sale of chips, by the truckload or half truckload. Call one of our tree trimmers to place your order and arrange payment. For all tree services or selective clearing in rural or urban areas, call us for a meeting with one of our Lac-Brôme arborists.

After felling a tree, consult one of our pruners for more information about planting your future trees. Tree planting must be carried out according to the rules of the art if you want to see your investment grow in the long term, so you need to know where to plant your trees. Call one of our tree trimmers if you have any questions about tree felling.
